Help Choose the Winning UGG Australia Art + Sole Design!

Did you submit a design to the UGG Australia Art + Sole contest?  I hope so, because it’s time to vote! Leave a link in the comments- I’d love to check out your design!

If you didn’t get around to submitting a design you can still get involved and help choose the winner that will walk away in a new pair of UGG boots they designed with $5000 in their pocket. Head over to the UGG Australia Facebook page and vote for the design you like best.  The design above, Hope and Opportunity by Iman Datoo, is one of my favorites. I also really like this design by Roman Kirichenko, The Beauty of Nature by Cristina Mancheno,  and this awesome print by Shu San.

Finally, congratulations to Carla who won the UGG Australia giveaway here on Dismount Creative. I loved reading all about what inspires you- you guys inspire me!

My UGG Art + Sole Boot Design

Here’s my design for the UGG Australia Art + Sole campaign benefiting Boys and Girls Club of America. It’s fun to see how Jenni (I Spy DIY), Grace (Stripes and Sequins) and I each came up with such different boots. I went for a colorful geometric design (is this any surprise?), Jenni’s features an animal print and Grace, naturally, went with stripes.

UGG Australia even made a video of us working on our designs and talking about the project. Don’t forget, you have until 12/26 to (1) enter your design for a chance to win $5,000 and have your design produced and (2) leave a comment about your DIY inspiration here for a chance to win a pair of UGG boots!

Art + Sole Inspiration

Hey, this is a special Monday inspiration! I’m teaming up with UGG Australia to spread the word about Art + Sole, a contest where you can design your own pair of UGG boots and enter them for a chance to win $5,000 and have your design produced and sold by UGG Australia! Plus, a portion of the proceeds from the winning design will go to benefit Boys and Girls Clubs of America.

Here’s what you need to do:

  • Download the design template and get creative! You can create and save your design on the computer or print the templates, design by hand and scan the finished image.
  • Upload your design on the UGG Australia Facebook page before December 26th! Be sure to like them so you won’t forget about the deadline.
  • Vote for the design you like best between 12/27 – 1/5!

Now for the best part – I’m giving away a free pair of boots from the UGG Australia Core Collection. (That‘s up to a $400 value!) I shared my inspiration board above and in a few days I’ll show you my finished boot design. To win the boots, just leave a comment below before 12/26 telling me what inspires you! I’ll draw a random entry from all the comments on 12/27. Good luck!
