This bracelet is another DIY that happened pre-blog. What, there was life before I started documenting it here? Who knew!
Since we’re all #armparty crazy these days I thought I’d keep posting bracelet ideas. It’s a simple and inexpensive design that uses seed beads and embroidery floss plus a few findings (little jewelry parts). I started each piece with about 36″ of floss. Tie an overhand knot on a bight at the center an then begin to thread the seed beads using a ladder stitch. Once the length is about 6″ (depending on your wrist size) tie a knot to finish. Repeat for the other four strands.
When you’ve finished all of the strands use a spot of glue on each before inserting them into the ribbon clamp and closing. Attach jump rings and the clasp to each end. For fun I also made a tiny tassel from floss and added it along with a small stamped charm to one end.
