A loooooong time ago I talked about wanting to make something for jewelry storage and display. I had my mind set on making something inspired by this piece from Urban Outfitters and last week I finally did it.
(Do you keep that many tabs open all the time like me?)
Supplies:
- Dollhouse Chairs (around 10, at least)
- Base (I used a round piece of wood)
- White Spray Paint
- Hot Glue Gun
I bought the chairs from Hobby Lobby. It took me a while to roundup 10 of them, so I recommend ordering online. (Especially if you’re in Houston because I’ve cleaned out the local stores!) There are different models available, but the basic spindle chair is the cheapest by far at $1.99.
Hot glue them to your base, tilting them around as you go. Tear off the annoying glue strings, or blast it with a hairdryer when you are finished.
Spray paint away! The unfinished wood required a few coats.
Add your jewelry, and then…
The finished product. Wouldn’t it be amazing to make a giant one with about 100 chairs?

Where did you buy the chairs? I’ve been looking on Amazon and Ebay, and no luck.
