So it’s 10pm on Monday night and I’m about to embark on a new adventure. Tomorrow morning I’ll be waking up in Chicago instead of Houston and hopping on the brown line to start the summer at Excelerate Labs. Big opportunities and big challenges await. Blogging might be (and has been) a little irregular, but I’ll keep at it.
Joe’s headed back to Texas and I started missing him the moment I stopped hugging him at Midway Airport. But I’m here with family and for that I’m so grateful. Still, I’m already counting the days until his return. (18)
To be totally honest, I’m kind of dreading tomorrow. It’s the same feeling you get when you’re slowly clicking up the first big hill of the rollercoaster. You’re almost at the top and suddenly you look down and realize how high you are and think ‘wait, why did I want to do this again?!’ Of course, seconds later you’re screaming your head off and loving it.
Or throwing up and hating it. Guess we’ll see which in a few hours!
PS – Anyone know where I can buy Topo Chico in Chicago? I miss it!
