On Tuesday night I had the best time at Canyon Creek teaching some stylish Houston ladies how to make jewelry. They made personalized stamped pendant necklaces and basic wire-wrapping skills while I learned where to find the best tacos in my neighborhood (So happy b/c I’ve been searching!) and all about their talents which ranged from flower arranging to ice skating. It was so much fun getting to know each other while crafting that the conversation went nonstop for over three hours! I’m really looking forward to the next class.
Are you interested in coming next time? I’ll be teaching how to make Stamped Pendant Necklaces again and Studded Leather Wallets (similar to this) later this month. Check the schedule and then register here.
Thanks to Reiko from God’s Favorite Shoes, Raven of DIY Raven, Rocquelle of Consider Me Lovely, Heather from Innercupcake, Michelle and Jackie for coming.
Extra thanks to Reiko for sharing her photos (sweetly titled “ihadablast”) even though I crashed her outfit shots
P.S. – I promised a big surprise today, and this wasn’t it. It’s slightly delayed (argh!) and will be up ASAP! Hopefully tonight or tomorrow. Stay tuned!

I wish I were just an hour or two closer to Houston! It sounds like you all had a great time!!
I wish I was 1000 miles closer to Houston! This looks fabulous! Yay DC!
Thanks girls, I hope to have classes in Austin and Chicago at some point b/c those are two of my favorite cities!
I’m allergic to alcohol, but this still looks super fun! What a great way to bring crafters and bloggers alike all together.
Soda and other options are always available, too! I also plan holding some in coffee shops soon as well. The weather is getting hot in Houston and I’m craving iced coffee every afternoon.
